To provide love, care, education, and support for cats and the humans who love them. To help bring about a world where every cat has a home, and cat people who need help have someone they can turn to for assistance.

About Cats & Cuddles

Cats & Cuddles is a non-profit 501(c)3 cat rescue organization dedicated to helping cats and those who love them. Our goal is to find loving homes for cats in need.Our cats come from various sources, like local shelters at capacity, off the street when brought in by good Samaritans, or surrendered by extended family when their owners passed away.Currently, we are focusing on individual rescue cases at a time but in the future, we hope to expand our reach to include multiple litters, expanded TNR efforts, a pet food pantry, and community support programs.

Adoption Information

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, flea medicated and dewormed.Kitten: $175 (11 months or younger)
Adult: $150 (1 year to 8 years)
Senior: $125 (8 years and older)
2nd Feline: $50 off the total adoption fee
3rd Feline: Additional $25 off the total adoption fee

Process Transparency

1) Fill out an application (PDF is downloadable above) and email it to [email protected]2) If your paper application gains first approval, there will then be a brief phone interview where the rescue and potential adopter can ask clarifying questions regarding the process or specific kittens. We strive to complete this phone interview within 24 hours of application submission (or at least have the interview scheduled).3) If your phone interview is approved, then a meet and greet is scheduled for the soonest available time for the rescue and potential adopter.4) On the spot adoption is possible on the day of the meet and greet if a few factors are in order. The foster kitty must be completely done with their pre-adoption prep (altered, vaccinations completed, etc). There must be no other meet and greets already scheduled for the cat, and no concerns raised during the meet and greet. We kindly ask that all potential adopters be prepared to take a kitten home on the day of the meet and greet while understanding that final approval will be decided during that meeting.Outliers: If pre-adoption prep is not completed, sometimes the cat is eligible for foster-to-adopt so that you can begin to bond with your new companion while they remain the charge of the rescue till the prepwork is completed.Also, pick up can be scheduled for a time after the meet and greet date if the adopter would like a few days to prepare their space or would like to time the pick up to avoid miscellaneous schedule conflicts (ie, travel, holiday guests, etc).

Wasabi (24H-1-4)

While not as scared as when he first came into foster care, Wasabi and his brother Curry are the shyest of the Spice 5, Wasabi has finally started letting people pet him without being quite so scared. This little guy needs some more time to come out of his shell, but we think that he could do that with a patient and loving forever family a little easier than in a crowded foster space.

Curry (24H-1-6)

Curry is the most hesitant and shy of the Spice 5, and despite our efforts he's still a little convinced that we're going to eat him. It's our hope that Curry can get adopted with one of his more outgoing siblings to a patient family who is willing to let him continue his socialization journey at his own pace. He's in a much better place than he was at intake and we can see him improving in little ways every day. With love and effort, we know there's a sweet loving guy in there somewhere.
